Responsibilities
Install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to blueprints and diagrams using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment and perform necessary repairs.
Conduct general building maintenance to ensure smooth business operations.
Inspect, unload, assemble, and relocate machinery and equipment using hand and power tools, hoists, dollies, and trucks.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures and align machines during installation.
Fabricate new machine parts and provide training to operators and new employees on machine operation and maintenance.
Adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures while ensuring compliance with regulations and completing all required paperwork.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 12 hours at one time
working weekends
Skills
Mechanical Maintenance (2 years of experience is required)
Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required)
Inspection
Monitoring
CNC (2 years of experience is preferred)
PLC/HMI (2 years of experience is required)
