salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and manage real estate documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, closing statements, and deeds.

  • Title Examination: Conduct thorough title searches and prepare title reports to ensure clear property titles for transactions.

  • Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing documents such as zoning reports, surveys, and environmental assessments.

  • Closing Coordination: Coordinate real estate closings, including preparing closing checklists, ensuring all documents are executed correctly, and disbursing funds.

  • Legal Research: Perform legal research on real estate laws and regulations, and assist in the preparation of legal briefs and memoranda.

  • Client Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in real estate transactions, providing updates and ensuring all parties are informed.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date files for all real estate transactions, including electronic filing systems.

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
