We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food science, quality control, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in the meat or food industry.
Knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety regulations, and USDA standards.
Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
salary: $19 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of meat products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Monitor and document production processes to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Identify and report any deviations from quality standards, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformities.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and improve inspection protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with USDA and other relevant regulatory requirements.
