We are looking for a CNC lathe operator who should have mechanical skills, be able to read measuring devices, and understand machine drawings. They should also be able to follow written and oral instructions and solve mechanical problems. Responsibilities
A CNC (computer numerical control) lathe machinist or operator uses a CNC lathe machine to create machined parts:
Programming: Write and test programs to produce high-quality parts
Setup: Set up the lathe according to blueprints, selecting and aligning cutting tools, fixtures, and materials
Operation: Monitor the machine while it performs machining operations like turning, boring, threading, and facing
Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on the machine and supplies
Quality assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks and verify settings by measuring positions
Safety: Follow all safety regulations
