We are currently looking for a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Round Rock, Texas. As a stand up forklift operator you will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and loading them onto assigned locations (high racks). Duties include locating and moving products on pallets or creating pallets for storage or shipment. You may also identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. You must have relevant knowledge and experience using a stand up forklift. WMS expeirience is highly preferred as there will be times were data entry will be required.
salary: $18.5 - $18.51 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
As a forklift operator you will be responsible to:
Ensure the Assembly Line is supported with the right material, at the right time, and in the right quantity in a safe manner while also maintaining the quality of the product.
To ensure all deliveries are met in a Just-In-Time.
Providing production areas with materials (containers, pallets, racks, boxes, etc.) per theregulations for moving goods in and out of storage.
Communication with all team members and supervisors as it relates to Logistics, Safety, Quality,and Production.
Adhering to established measures, procedures, and rules for compliance with the EnvironmentalManagement and Safety System requirements based on ISO systems.
Use PPE as required.
MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED FROM PREVIOUS EMPLOYER
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 35lbs
working weekends
Skills
Basic Computer Skills
Reach Truck Operation
Material Handling
Sit Down Forklifts (1 year of experience is preferred)
