job summary:
A Research Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. As a Research Engineer, this role will manage multiple projects, support product performance improvements, and ensure safety and documentation in a lab environment.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are on time, well-documented, and within budget to meet business and customer objectives.
Transition hands-on work from a lab environment to a workshop environment.
Report project progress through oral presentations, written reports, and laboratory procedures.
Take an active role in the laboratory in safety and equipment-related activities.
Update safety information, organize 5S activities, and ensure team cooperation in all safety-related topics.
Maintain a lab notebook to record data related to key projects.
Skills:
Demonstrated capacity to work in a 5S environment while maintaining good lab skills.
Basic knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
Ability to work in a lab environment, building relationships and establishing support to execute projects in a cross-functional environment.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or other scientific disciplines.
