Are you looking for your next step in your inspection career? Our company in Madison is looking for an experienced Inspector to join the team. This is a first shift position. salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide support related to internal and external compliance within the assembly plant and daily operations

  • Acts as a Supplier Quality Representative

  • Manages Quality Process inputs and outputs independently in an eQMS including, but not limited to creation, management, review, and disposition of NCRs, SCARs, and Complaints

  • Works internally with department heads and externally with Suppliers to close quality gaps where they exist

  • Tracks and trends “cost of quality” data

  • Participates in cross-functional product quality meetings and investigations as required

  • Collaborates with manufacturing and quality personnel as required for continuous improvement of the manufacturing process

  • Performs routine quality inspections of the manufacturing process

  • Assists in the maintenance of the Approved Supplier Program

  • Perform in-process and final inspection activities
