The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will have the primary responsibility of monitoring and addressing unresolved payment matters and producing weekly aging reports promptly. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing the handling of exceptions, including disputes, declines, and insufficient funds. Qualifications: - 1 year of Medical Billing experience - Medicaid billing experience - High School Diploma or GED Pay depends upon experience up to $21/hour. The position is temporary to hire.

salary: $19 - $21 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of accounts, involving daily interaction with operational teams.

  • Organize and lead monthly conference calls to discuss aging reports with field operations.

  • Create and manage various reports upon request by field personnel and leadership.

  • Handle claim denials by investigating claims and actively working toward timely resolution for payment.

  • Promptly address significant variances and reconciling items.

  • Record and reconcile payments accurately.

  • Validate account discrepancies by gathering and examining information from the field.

  • Analyze accounts receivable aging.

  • Maintain precise electronic records and supporting evidence for account reconciliations and journal entries you process
