Randstad is accepting candidates that have production experience for a job in Loudon, TN. It is a hands on position that works with concrete and other fabrication materials. It is a 1st shift position that starts at 7am. There is a high likelihood one would work 40-50 hours per week in this role. Weekend shift are avoided if at all possible. Ideal candidates would have the following:
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment, preferred
Precast production experience a plus (pay based on experience)
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.
A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.
Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Average proficiency in mathematics.
Good visual acuity.
salary: $19.5 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Follow all safe work practices and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Carryout verbal and written instructions from lead.
Manufacture precast concrete products in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Trained to complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.
Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.
Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.
Other duties as assigned.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills
Casting (1 year of experience is preferred)
Manufacturing (1 year of experience is preferred)
Quality Control (1 year of experience is preferred)
