salary: $41,600 - $56,160 per year

work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and parameters.
Select and prepare welding equipment and materials, including electrodes, wire, and shielding gas, for each welding job.
Set up and adjust welding machines to achieve proper welding parameters, such as voltage, amperage, and travel speed.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and quality of welds.
Inspect welded joints and surfaces for defects, such as cracks, porosity, and undercut, and perform corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in welding is preferred.
Proven experience as a welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, such as welding machines, torches, and grinders.
strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
The essential functions of this role include:
