We are looking for an experienced Paralegal in Lexington Kentucky for a temporary to hire role. The ideal candidate will have experience as a paralegal in Workers Compensation and Insurance Defense; they will also have experience with e-filing documents on both a state and federal level. This is a temporary to hire opportunity with a pay rate between $24-$30 per hour.

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain case files, organizing all relevant documents and evidence for easy access and retrieval
Manage and execute the e-filing of court documents, claims, and other legal paperwork with state and federal systems.
Conduct detailed legal research as directed by attorneys, focusing on workers' compensation and insurance defense statutes and case law.
Ensure all documents comply with legal standards and formats specific to workers' compensation and insurance defense.
Monitor case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and actions are scheduled properly.
