Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Lancaster, OH
Position Type: Full-time
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a local company in Lancaster, Ohio. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality parts and components. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CNC operations, be able to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and possess excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to understand specifications.
Select appropriate tools and materials for the job based on machining requirements.
Program CNC machinery using CAM software or adjust existing programs to control the speed and feed of the machine.
Monitor and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure machines operate efficiently.
Collaborate with other team members and engineers to improve production processes and resolve manufacturing issues.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment.
