As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be on the floor for your entire shift, supervising and coordinating the activities of your team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will oversee equipment operators, order pickers, packers, pullers, and unloaders, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This role is crucial in managing the flow of production and meeting our high-volume metrics. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse workers, including equipment operators, order pickers, packers, pullers, and unloaders.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols on the warehouse floor.
Monitor and manage the workflow to meet daily production targets.
Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
Maintain a high-energy environment to drive team performance and meet metrics.
Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is operational.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Implement and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting is required. Prior experience leading equipment operators, order pickers, packers, pullers, and unloaders is essential.
Skills: Leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team in a high-volume, metric-driven environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to be on your feet for 8-9 hours per shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
