Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Technician and/ or Machine Operator who is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives on solving tough problems? We are looking for an individual to champion the quality of our products using both automated and manual tests, reporting and verifying defects and assembly of quality parts. If you are looking to stand out in your field this may be the opportunity for you.
salary: $16 - $16.25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts to determine assembly of finished workpieces or sub-assemblies
Set up and utilize drill press with bits to drill molded bodies and molded parts
Trim flash from parts
Cut cable, wire, and solder various parts
Fit parts with gauges
Perform continuity checking, electrical testing, and hipot testing based on training and maintain annual certification for operation of testing equipment
Scan routers and perform transactions in SAP
Performs other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Knowledge of various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.
Must have machine operating experience
Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
Prefers someone with Lock Out Tag Out experience
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 40lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
