Hello assemblers! Randstad is seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to build wire harnesses for a company in South Austin. If you have previous wire harness assembly experience, now! Soldering experience is required. This is a direct hire opportunity. Drug test and background check required.
salary: $37,440 - $52,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
• Ability to read blueprints and follow wire harness assembly instructions.
• Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
• Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards.
• Numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers.
• Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures.
• Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectors.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
