Responsibilities
This employee is responsible for interacting with varying levels of internal
and external personnel requiring the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in written form if
needed. Effectiveness in this role requires an entry level of knowledge of the offset printing process with a
focus on safety protocols as outlined by the company in guidance by OSHA safety rules and mandates.
This feeder/operator will learn to assist, maintain, and help print on an offset printing machine under the guidance of a level 3 operator or a level 2 operator.
Read and understand job related production requirements communicated through a job production ticket and job, department, and plant-wide standard operating procedures.
Have entry level to average ability to help troubleshoot print and job planning issues as needed to grow the individual's skillset.
Maintain personal productivity and quality standards that meet or exceed company expectations.
Report time and materials consumption accurately utilizing standard company reporting tools.
Assists in daily press startup and shutdown maintenance, and strives to perform periodic maintenance
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
