salary: $30 - 45 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Associates

responsibilities:

  • Assist with a comprehensive range of drawing and modeling tasks, including analyzing problems.

  • Execute modeling of conduit and cable trays, and create complex custom parameter families in Autodesk Revit.

  • Position cable trays, conduits, and telecom devices within the BIM model.

  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure clearances and resolve clashes.

  • Convert engineering sketches into detailed single line drawings.

  • Handle drawing, planning, development, and production tasks, which include problem analysis, design layout, and complex calculations on varied and substantial assignments.

  • Review designs or sketches and provide redlines or markups to enhance project quality.

  • Approve design codes and specifications to meet design requirements.

  • Produce design drawings adhering to project scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Calculate volume for conduit and cable tray fills as directed by engineers.

  • Support the analysis of reports, drawings, and calculations.

  • Integrate schedules, budgets, and project criteria into electrical designs to achieve financial objectives.

  • Conduct quality reviews of all project revisions, plot files, and related information in an organized manner.

  • Train, mentor, and develop junior drafting, detailing, and design staff.

  • Adhere to all design and drafting standards set by the company, client, and project.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced

  • Minimum 3 years of experience

  • Education: Associates

skills:

  • CAD (3 years of experience is preferred)
