Logistics company in the West Palm Beach area is seeking experienced forklift operators that want to be part of the Hurricane Season Forklift Operator team. This is a temporary position. However, for the right individual may become a permanent opportunity. In this role, you must have experience with sit-down, double pallet forklifts. Candidates must pass a assessment, prior to starting. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shifts and work 10- 12 hour days.
salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 8 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Responsibilites:
Must be able to pass forklift operator test prior to starting
Must be able to work on call as needed during hurricane season 2024
Must be experienced operating a sit-down double pallet forklift
Must be experienced using an RF scanner
Must be able to adhere to safety protocols
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 40lbs
working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
Skills
Sit Down Forklifts
RF Scanner (1 year of experience is required)
Double Pallet forklift (2 years of experience is required)
