Are you new to this market with some accounting experience or recently retired and want to keep your skills sharp? A valued client of ours is looking for some temporary accounts receivable-related assistance as soon as possible. It is important to note that they use MS Dynamics 365 and do not have the resources to offer extensive training. This comfortable in-office role that will turn hybrid is located in North Jacksonville. For the right match, this role has a high probability of becoming a permanent position.
salary: $21 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly
Record and post payments in the accounting system
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments, overdue invoices, and payment discrepancies
Handle customer inquiries, resolve billing disputes, and provide excellent customer service
Initiate collections on overdue accounts, escalating as necessary
Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, invoices, payments, and adjustments
Coordinate with other departments such as sales, customer service, and finance to resolve issues and improve processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
