Responsibilities
If you are an amazing Capenter/foreman/Finisher interested in a career where you can grow and expand, then and see the opportunities that we have for you. Working with us, you would be installing metal studs and fastening drywall to them on commercial and government projects. As well as on site training.
This is a Direct Hire position for the RIGHT candidate.
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY
For this role, you will be responsible for:
Read and understand project blueprints.
Supervising relevant construction team.
Measuring and marking the metal frames using chalk lines.
Cutting studs and metal runners to the specified measurements.
Installing metal studs to frames.
Attaching metal frames with preconfigured horizontal and vertical wallboards.
Always ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.
Fitting and fastening drywall boards on the frames.
Inspecting completed work and verifying it with the design and blueprint.
Be able to work on scaffold, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts.
Be able to use powder actuated tools and lasers.
Work indoors and outdoors.
Must be able to work individually and as a team player.
Maintain construction schedules including phasing.
And other duties as assigned by your manager.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
