We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 100% in office, JACKSONVILLE, FL

Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices for payment. Verify accuracy, coding, and authorization of invoices before processing.
Vendor Management: Maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and tax documentation. Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers. Ensure payments are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation of expenses.
Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding balances. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. Provide support for financial audits as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and automation solutions where applicable.
