Large industrial manufacturer is hiring for a 2nd shift mechanic for their central islip facility. The shift mechanic will troubleshoot equipment problems and perform required maintenance to ensure smooth mechanical operations Direct Hire Opportunity Monday-Friday 4:00pm-1:00am $27-32 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities
Assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers
Assisting with performing preventative/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.
Boiler knowledge & HVAC experience a plus
Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing a plus
