Responsibilities
Execute the assembly of electrical components, including wiring harnesses, circuit boards, switches, and connectors, according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Conduct basic testing and inspection of electrical components to verify functionality and adherence to quality standards.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical assembly issues, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards throughout the assembly process, ensuring that finished products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including production reports, inspection records, and quality control documentation.
Proficiency in soldering electrical components, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components, to circuit boards and other substrates.
Understanding of soldering safety practices and precautions to prevent injury and damage to components, as outlined in IPC J-STD-001.
The essential functions of this role include:
