Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Up to 5 years of experience in a similar field.

• Proficiency in CAD modeling (Autodesk Inventor prefered).

• Working knowledge of Mechanical components and basic machining principles, tools, and shop equipment

• Enthusiasm for learning and growing within the field of mechanical engineering.

responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions

• Should be able to design complete mechanical package of electrical components, bus bar design for electrical connections.

• Support and document design by calculations such as material selection, tolerances, tolerance stack-up, stress analysis, and thermal expansion.

• Assist senior engineers in development and execution of product designs that support the varied needs of multiple projects.

• Create 3D detailed mechanical assembly drawings (including cooling and hydraulic units) and create BOM.

• Check drawings for accuracy including values, tolerances, dimensions, spelling, and completeness.

• Follow and adhere to applicable regulatory documentation during design phases.

• Design necessary tooling, fixtures, or gauges to assist in product assembly and inspection.
