Responsibilities:
Networking and Datacenter Management:
Oversee and maintain the overall health and performance of the network infrastructure and datacenter operations. Perform regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network components to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement and manage network security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or attacks.
Windows Server Administration:
Install, configure, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Monitor server performance, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure and efficient server environment.
Routing, Switching, and Firewall Management:
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols to ensure efficient data flow and connectivity. Implement and maintain firewall rules and policies to safeguard the network from internal and external threats. Collaborate with network engineers to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
Cisco Routing and Controller Management:
Manage Cisco routers and controllers, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Ensure seamless integration of Cisco devices within the network infrastructure. Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and best practices to enhance network performance and security.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in networking, datacenter management, and Windows Server administration.
Knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall technologies, with hands-on experience in Cisco devices.
Proficiency in VMware administration and virtualization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, VCP, or MCSE are highly desirable.
