We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations within our manufacturing facility, particularly focusing on working with metals and familiarity with bill of lathes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and transportation processes within a metalworking environment.
salary: $22 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Receive incoming raw materials and components, conduct quality inspections, and ensure accurate documentation.
Manage inventory levels and replenishment processes to support production schedules.
Prepare shipments according to customer orders
Generate shipping documents such as packing lists, invoices, and bills of lading.
Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to arrange transportation and ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor shipment tracking and communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules.
Manage returns and reverse logistics processes, including handling defective products and customer returns.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
