Responsibilities
Mechanical Assembly:
Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Ensure that all components fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
Quality Control:
Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.
Perform functional tests on completed assemblies to verify their performance and reliability.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation related to the assembly process.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of projects.
