We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate to support our company's warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. A Warehouse Associate is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention.
salary: $18.99 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Receive inbound trucks and prepare trucks for shipping by loading and unloading
Prepare and condense pallets as well as perform audits
Process fixtures from the stores and determine what materials can be recycled
Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
Maintains housekeeping and safety of facility by monitoring levels of trash in compactors, open-top containers, and trash line; removing and baling cardboard from trash line and reporting trash levels.
Processes merchandise and pallets
Must be 18
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs or accommodation
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
Skills
Material Handling (1 year of experience is preferred)
Order Pulling (1 year of experience is preferred)
