The Company designs and manufactures customized electronic subsystems and major components for military aircraft, shipboard, handheld, and ground-based programs, as well as designing hardware to support rugged non-military applications. Advanced in- house technologies, proven design expertise and diligent analysis of the relationships between human and machine enable the Company to deliver products that increase user productivity, reliability, and overall performance in mission-critical applications. Our goal is to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction by providing our customers with the best available equipment and service so they will recognize Orbit as the source for their Human Machine Interface needs.

salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

Ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges etc.)

preferred.

 Knowledge of Company Quality Systems, ESD handling

 Knowledge of Standard IPS-A-610 acceptability of electronic assemblies

 Incoming inspection of electronic components /metal

 J-STD-001 requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies

 In process inspection of board assemblies and cable assemblies

 Final inspection of top-level units

 Inspection of stuffed boards

 Solid computer & typing skills and be able to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, &

Word

 Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings

 Must be organized and able to multi task

 Have good verbal and written communications skills
