Our client seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and finance, with a specific focus on project accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial aspects of our projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the financial integrity and success of our projects.
salary: $80,000 - $89,999.99 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
Receiving, reviewing invoices, purchase orders and supporting documents.
-Recording transactions on QuickBooks.
Facilitating communication with vendors for payment and statement status to ensure all invoices are paid on time.
Collaboration and communication with the accounting team to obtain check approvals, facilitate disbursements and delivery of checks in a timely manner.
Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
QuickBooks experience. - Any Surety + Construction Accounting experience is a plus, but we will train.
