Maintenance Technician

Randstad is searching for a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production, shipping, and facility assets.
Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs, maintenance, and rebuilding of production, shipping, and facility equipment.
Respond promptly to calls from production, shipping staff, and management to diagnose and address equipment issues.
Implement established preventative maintenance programs and conduct reliability/predictive maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with the team on the installation of new equipment.
Assist management in scheduling and prioritizing maintenance projects.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date departmental records.
Effectively read and interpret technical documents such as mechanical drawings, construction plans, machine manuals, and electrical schematics.
Ensure all equipment adheres to all safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 year of experience in a maintenance technician role or relevant field.
Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals and schematics.
Valid driver's license preferred.
salary: $52,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 10:30 PM - 7 AM

Responsibilities
Generally repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding the production, shipping, and facility assets.
Responds to calls from production, shipping employees, and management to make repairs.
Performs established preventative maintenance programs and reliability / predictive maintenance work.
Assists with all aspects of new equipment installation.
Assists management with scheduling maintenance projects.
Maintains accurate and complete departmental records.
Reads and interprets mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals, electrical blueprints / schematics.
Ensures all equipment adheres to all applicable safety requirements.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
working weekends
