Responsibilities
• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in assigned production area to
meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials
supply, sales forecast, and production ramp planning
• Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function
• Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Perform verification of production output according to specifications
• Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers
• Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working weekends
