We are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in employee relations to join our team as a Senior Manager of Employee Relations. The person in this role must be an absolute expert in employee relations, federal and California state employment laws and regulations, have excellent written and verbal communication, and be able to work well independently and with a team. The ideal candidate is able to multitask in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail and follow through. This client will only consider candidates who have previously heavily in employee relations for at least four years. Responsibilities

  • Investigations:

  • Handle sensitive HR and employee relations issues.

  • Conduct interviews, analyze data, adjudicate cases, and collaborate with HRBPs, Legal, and vendors.

  • Prepare reports and manage investigation outcomes.

  • Case Management:

  • Independently manage and rapidly close assigned casework.

  • Analyze employee relations data to identify trends and mitigate issues proactively.

  • Workplace Relations Programs:

  • Collect and analyze feedback to identify risks and sustain positive workplace relations.

  • Partner with HR, Legal, and business teams for resolutions and continuous improvements.

  • Review people programs, policies, and practices to ensure a positive work environment.

  • Advisory Role:

  • Advise on employee discipline, underperformance, terminations, accommodations, leave scenarios, and related matters.

  • Guide and train managers on performance management aligned with company practices.

  • Manage crisis situations, sometimes under time constraints, including necessary travel.

  • Policy Development:

  • Lead the development and coordination of people policies, ensuring alignment with company values and scalability.
