Join Our Team as a Lead Mining Screening Plant Mechanic!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and audit equipment inspections.

  • Refine the EMS (Equipment Management System) as needed.

  • Identify system constraints and pursue their elimination through continuous improvement.

  • Ensure uninterrupted production and reduce costs by improving maintenance methods.

  • Lead root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in corrective actions.

  • Research new liability processes and predict reliability improvements.

  • Perform onsite evaluations and set precision maintenance expectations.

  • Review and establish Key Performance Indices for equipment.

  • Identify PM opportunities and maintenance plans through failure mode analysis.

  • Analyze current data for equipment health indicators.

  • Develop safety perspectives and recommend engineering solutions.

  • Provide guidance on processes, regulations, and budgeting efforts.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting efforts.

  • Develop and evaluate AFE's for capital funding requests.

  • Administer contracts with vendors and represent the site on company-sponsored committees.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in heavy industrial or mining industries.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

  • strong communication skills.

  • Customer-focused with knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance practices.

  • Experience with engineering design drawings and schematics.

  • Self-starter with solid integrity.

  • Understanding of safety, legality, and quality standards.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification.

  • Ability to understand and verbal and written instructions and procedures.

  • Ability to work in potentially stressful environments.

  • Physical ability to perform job duties.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (Silver Creek Materials)
