Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Oversee the receiving of shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
Inspect shipments for damages and report discrepancies.
Prepare shipping documents and ensure timely shipment of orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
Resolve inventory discrepancies and support inventory control measures.
Safely operate a forklift to move and organize products within the warehouse.
Ensure all forklift operations comply with safety standards.
Must have a valid forklift certification and proven experience.
Lead and train warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and morale.
Communicate effectively with other departments, including procurement and customer service.
Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
The essential functions of this role include:
