salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of NVOCC transportation for the company.

  • Lead/Hire/Train NVOCC operations team to manage shipments and administrative responsibilities.

  • Responsible for ocean shipping and delivery of orders in the United States, including international freight arrangements, production of customs declaration documents, customs clearance coordination.

  • Communicate with overseas sales, operations teams, and other functional departments to grasp the delivery situation as a whole and deal with various problems in the transportation process, abnormal shipments, and update the shipping status in a timely manner.

  • Develop processes and procedures for NVOCC team to ensure success of proper servicing of customer demands for NVOCC transportation

  • Assist Commercial teams with NVOCC rate calculations, supply chain modeling and commercial proposals.

  • Negotiate rates and establish KPI's and be able to report weekly success to management.

  • Ability to travel between customers
