Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate electrical, optical, and RF test and measurement instrumentation.
Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems
Adapt equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements
Maintain calibration standards
Post-sale, expert-level support services
Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting
Test & repair to component level a wide variety of electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, RF or Optical Communication Analyzers, AC/DC Power Supplies, Spectrum / Network / Component Analyzers, Meters, etc.)
Instrument Calibration Procedures
Specialty may be focused on RF circuitry, optical, or general electronics board repair
Military Testing and calibration a plus!
