As a Flight Simulator Control Panel Inspector, you'll play a vital role in bringing the most realistic training experience to pilots around the world. You'll be responsible for meticulously inspecting high-fidelity components used in military and commercial flight simulators, ensuring they meet rigorous standards and function flawlessly.
salary: $60,000 - $62,400 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Inspect a variety of simulated training components, including instrument gauges, control panels, and multifunction LCD displays.
Meticulously review and interpret schematics, block diagrams, build drawings, and customer specifications.
Verify components are assembled according to instructions and meet IPC-J soldering and wiring standards.
Utilize electronic test equipment like meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies to ensure proper functionality.
What you bring to the table:
A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to read and understand technical documents like schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
Experience working with IPC-J wiring and soldering standards is a plus.
strong mechanical aptitude to ensure components are built to exact specifications.
Experience using electronic test equipment is essential.
Familiarity with digital circuits and embedded systems, including protocols like RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet, PoE, and Ethernet circuits (a plus).
Excellent communication skills to document and report any issues.
