job summary:
We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor in the St. Louis, MO, area to work for a chemical manufacturing client. This is a 2nd shift (3:00 PM-1:30 AM) Monday-Thursday with some Fridays.
This is a direct-hire role with great benefits.

responsibilities:
Supervise maintenance personnel who install, maintain, and repair machine tools, mechanical equipment, and electronic apparatus. Develops maintenance policies and programs.
Hires, trains, evaluates, and coaches employees and plans the daily work using the work order systems for the maintenance department
Develops and maintains positive and productive communications between intra-company departments (Production, QA, Shipping & Receiving, and Office) and with vendors and contractors
Supports all elements of the Quality Management System including maintenance of quality critical instrumentation and SOP's for setting up operating processes.
Operates equipment for the purpose of trouble shooting problems, testing performance of equipment, training operators, and certifying operators
