We are seeking a reliable and experienced Off-the-Road and Local Truck Driver with a flexible on-call schedule to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and materials to various locations, both off-the-road and within the local area. This position requires a high level of flexibility and readiness to respond to on-call requests. Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial truck driving.
knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to on-call requests.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and handle heavy cargo as needed.
Clean driving record with no recent violations.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
Transport goods and materials to designated locations efficiently and on time.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Navigate routes using GPS and other navigation tools to optimize delivery times.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week
