Defense manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Lead/Supervisor to lead a team of QC inspectors and spearhead audits, both internal and external. Responsibilities
Define strategic direction, mission, and vision for Quality aligned with company goals.
Maintain AS9100-compliant quality management system, oversee audits, and enhance QA programs.
Use root cause analysis tools for continuous improvement.
Foster collaborative team environment focused on learning and respect.
Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality standards and drive improvements.
Manage department budget.
Lead site compliance and customer audits (FAI, AS9100, NADCAP, AS13100).
The essential functions of this role include:
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
