Responsibilities
A company in Dalton, GA is looking for an experienced Claims Representative. Position is on-site at the clients location. It is NOT a remote position.
The Claims position provides after sales service to customers by quickly and fairly resolving all disputes while following company policies. Duties include:
Process claims to resolve them in a timely manner based on company policies
Use knowledge of finished products to determine how to assign claims value and use correct defect codes according to product type and invoice details
Work with other departments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
Also work with others to help improve any manufacturing and shipping steps that could eliminate future claims
Enter claims, steps and results in computer system to create a timeline
Follow up to confirm claims are processed correctly (money reimbursed / money owed) and confirm each claim is closed
General Customer Service to ensure customer is happy with final sale and will place orders in future
Requirements:
At least 2 years previous Claims experience and Customer Service experience
Proficient with MS Office
Able to work 8:00am to 5:30pm
