Tatum has a Private Equity backed North American client that is in need for a Controller to stabilize and establish cohesiveness within the Accounting department. This $165Mil (+ / -) company has substantial growth via organically as well as through acquisitions.

responsibilities:
Responsible for the monthly close process.
Stabilize current department
Immediate need for accounting clean up and process improvements
Build out more of the accounting team at this North Dallas location; which includes evaluating current talent & making tough decisions
Heavy manual billing process, looking to automate this process in the 1st 90 days
Get a handle on these specific challenges: intercompany transactions, foreign currency, fixed assets, & inventory control
qualifications:
Private Equity backed company experience preferred
Proficiency with current financial software - NetSuite - preferred
A history of managing fairly large accounting teams (25+)
A track record of coming into chaotic environments with ability to bring organization and control to it in a short period of time.
Public accounting experience preferred
"Hands-On" pre & post acquisition transaction experience
Experience with warehouse management preferred
skills: $100-250 million
