Randstad is seeking a Specialty Test Assembler for the Cranston Area. The position is a contract position through the end of August. The candidate should have experience with part and component assembly, be mechanically inclined, able to use air compressed and hand tools, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities
Mechanical Assembling and Component Testing
Mechanically inclined
Perform bench assembly operations of valve components.
Must be comfortable with using air compressed and hand tools.
Make prescribed tests and checks after the completion of each operation to assure quality, including final assembly testing.
Visually inspect parts for defects and repair defects as required to bring pieces to acceptable quality level.
Visually check for quality; may label, mark, tag and package finished product.
Must be able to lift parts up to 50 LBS.
Must be able to Speak, Read, and Write in English
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
