Location: Cowpens, SC
DIRECT HIRE ROLE - 1st Shift (M-F)
We are seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to maintain, repair, fabricate, and modify tools, dies, molds, and fixtures used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have great mechanical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. Must have previous experience with injection molding machinery. Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repair: Inspecting, repairing, and adjusting tools, dies, molds, and fixtures.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and solving problems with production tools and equipment.
Fabrication and Modification: Manufacturing and modifying tools and components as needed.
Calibration: Ensuring tools are calibrated to maintain accuracy in production.
Documentation: Recording maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and future reference.
Collaboration: Working with engineers and production teams to support manufacturing goals.
Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Training: Occasionally providing training on tool usage and maintenance.
Continuous Improvement: Participating in initiatives to enhance tooling performance and efficiency.
Emergency Response: Promptly addressing breakdowns to minimize downtime.
