salary: $49,000 - $55,000 per year

Responsibilities
Supervise Packaging Staff: Manage and lead a team of 10-15 packaging workers, providing training and ensuring adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure packaging meets company and industry standards.
Smooth Operation of Packaging Lines: Oversee the daily operations of packaging lines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
Specialized Packaging Processes: Ensure specialized packaging processes are executed correctly and efficiently.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the packaging process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Coordination with Other Departments: Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Inventory Management: Monitor packaging materials inventory and order supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all packaging activities comply with safety regulations and conduct regular safety training sessions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a packaging lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience with specialized packaging processes and equipment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards
Effective communication, organizational and coordination abilities.
The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
