job summary:
Manufacturing company with several locations nationwide is targeting a Quality Manager for their facility in Columbia, South Carolina. This position will be responsible for investigating product quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, as well as leading a team of quality assurance professionals.
BS in Engineering or related technical degree preferred.
Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control systems, including testing and inspection processes.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Investigate product quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Meet with customers to address quality-related concerns, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review.
