Job Opening! We're searching for a highly skilled welder to join our team and contribute to the company's growth and success. In this role, the welder will be expected to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by ing appropriate techniques and using various welding devices.
salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 4 PM - 12:30 AM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding
Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processes
Assembles parts by bolting and riveting
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
AWS D 1.2 Aluminum Certification credentials : not required but preferred
Aluminum Fabrication Skills
Other duties may be assigned
Pass a weld test, background check, and drug test.
Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 75lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
