Looking for individuals eager to work in a fast paced environment assisting with machine operation in a paper press industry. Prepare, operate, and maintain printing presses. Principal duties include installing and adjusting printing plates, loading and feeding paper, mixing inks and controlling ink flow, and ensuring the quality of the final printed piece.
salary: $15 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Be sure all safety procedures are being followed.
Correctly assist in set up and running of machine to expedite quality and run speed.
Assist in following all instructions on work order, i.e., print positioning, repeat, ink colors, quantity produced.
Check for correct color, copy and sequence.
Assist in roll changes on the unwind and rewind.
Inform Press operator/ Supervisor of any issues.
Check and record ink viscosity.
Stage and return inks.
Sweep and mop floors.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
