Randstad has partnered with a highly reputable printing manufacturing company located in the Inland Empire. We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join the team on 1st shift. The Maintenance Mechanic assists with installing, repairing and monitoring Industrial processing and production machinery under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities
Minimum 4 years mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment (Printing industry is highly preferred)
Possess strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
Must be flexible to work Shift Work (days, afternoons, nights)
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes
Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software's an asset
Must pay attention to details with a customer service attitude.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
